ITINERARY

day 1 | Welcome On Board

Board at 4pm in the picturesque & colourful Mirissa Fisheries Harbour. A short cruise takes guests into the stunning Weligama Bay, where they can relax with a leisurely dinner on board under the stars.

day 2 | Dutch Fort Of Galle

Breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail to Jungle Beach, near Galle. Guests can take a dinghy to the beach and enjoy swimming & sunbathing. Lunch back on board, then the crew will arrange a walking tour of Galle Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site. Dinner on board and night anchorage near Jungle Beach.

day 3 | Sailing Towards Tallala

Breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail towards Talalla Beach, famous for its sheltered cove and tranquil waters. Guests can take a dinghy to the beach and enjoy the swimming & sunbathing. Lunch back on board, then the crew will arrange an optional visit to a local fish / fruit market. Dinner on board and night anchorage near Talalla Beach.

day 4 | Day at Kudawella

Breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail towards the pristine beaches of Kudawella. Visit of local fisheries and cultural sites. Lunch on board, followed by a relaxing swim and a stand-up paddleboard session. Seafood dinner under the stars and night anchorage near Kudawella Beach.

day 5 | Tangalle Golden Beaches

Breakfast on board and a morning swim before setting sail towards Tangalle, with a stop at Hiriketiya or Mawella along the way for a delightful warm water tropical swim and to sample the local beach life. Dinner on board and night anchorage near Tangalle.

day 6 | Whale Watching

Early breakfast then lunch on board while sailing back towards Dondra and Mirissa to observe the whales & dolphins - and notably the largest cetacean of all: the Blue Whale. Afternoon at Mirissa Beach for a swim, stand-up paddle boarding or surf. Dinner on board and night anchorage in Weligama Bay.

day 7 | Return To Mirissa Harbour

Breakfast, then return to Mirissa Fisheries Harbour for disembarkation at 10am.

EAST COAST CRUISES

from May to September

raw and untamed, an exhilarating adventure

The extensive East coastline offers vast unexplored golden beaches, a perfectly laid back setting for travelers looking to step off the beaten path. You will discover the seaside port of Trincomalee, with its magnificent harbour, the coastal resort of Nilaveli with its calm and clear blue water, and the popular resort bay of Passikuda with splendid coral reefs underneath the tranquil sea which is ideal for snorkelling and swimming.

 

The coastline is dotted with lesser known heritage sites and places of spiritual significance. The lagoons and inlets of the East with their water bird life and mangroves provide a different type of water experience. Furthermore, to the south lies the internationally famous surfing hotspot of Arugam Bay.

Adding to the allure, Pigeon Island, situated opposite Nilaveli beach, is a snorkeler's paradise, boasting crystal clear waters that invite you to explore a mesmerizing underwater world.

ITINERARY

day 1 | Welcome On Board

Board at 4pm in the tranquil waters of Dutch Bay. A short cruise takes guests into the magnificent Koddiyar Bay, taking in the dramatic coastline with the ancient Koneswaram temple perched high on the hill. Guests can swim, canoe and enjoy paddleboarding before enjoying a sunset drink followed by a leisurely dinner on board under the stars, in the sheltered cove of Back Bay.

day 2 | Sallitivu Island

Morning snorkelling then breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail past Trincomalee in search of dolphins. Lunch at Elephant Rock, followed by snorkelling & paddleboarding, then set sail to Sallitivu Island for sunset drinks then dinner and night anchorage.

day 3 | Water Activities At Passikudah Bay

Breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail towards Passikudah Bay, famous for its aquamarine waters. Guests can take a dinghy to the beach and enjoy the swimming & sunbathing. Lunch back on board, then an afternoon dedicated to watersports & activities Dinner on board and night anchorage.

day 4 | Snorkelling at Ilantattunu

Sunrise swim then breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail towards Ilantattunu Point for snorkelling & stand-up paddleboard session. Lunch on board and departure for Lankapatuna for a swim, then sunset drinks, dinner and night anchorage.

day 5 | Jungle Beach

Early breakfast and on shore exploration of the area known as jungle beach. Aquatic activities such as stand up paddle boarding, and swimming. Lunch on board. On Shore visit the beach followed by a special seafood dinner under the stars. 

day 6 | Pigeon Island Coral Reef National Park

Breakfast on board as the Captain sets sail towards Nilaveli, viewing whales and dolphins on the way. Lunch off the coast of Pigeon Island where guests can enjoy snorkelling off the magical coral reef. Night anchorage at Back Bay

day 7 | Return To Mirissa Harbour

Breakfast, then return to Dutch Bay for disembarkation at 10am.
